They would give me nightmares. And the fact that I have heard of them before did not do anything to prevent me shuddering again.<br /><br />It doesn't help that someone once pointed out to me that if you can crack a coconut, you can crack open a human skull... <br /><br />If I'm not mistaken, a nature documentary I once saw that featured these, mentioned that locals HATE them, they're often considered pests, because they have been known to find their way into people's homes, rummage through the cabinets, and steal canned food. Which you know, they can open. <br /><br />Somehow, the fact that some of them have been known to do that, makes them even more terrifying. I think it's the fact that it implies that they're either whip-smart and capable of learning, or that they will literally crush anything that sloshes in the hope that it's edible.
